Woodblocks of Nguyen Dynasty
With its exceptional value in content and craftsmanship, the Woodblocks of Nguyen Dynasty were recognized by UNESCO as Vietnam's first World Documentary Heritage on July 31, 2009.
Currently, the Woodblocks of Nguyen Dynasty collection is stored within the grounds of Madame De Dalat, comprising up to 34,619 pieces covering various themes, including history, geography, culture and education, as well as ideology, religion, philosophy, politics, and military affairs. Considered a symbol of a dynasty, these tens of thousands of woodblocks quietly whisper stories of the past, preserving and passing down century-old heritage values.
Visitors here will be able to experience the woodblock-making process, brought to life in a dynamic, multi-dimensional format through sand painting using a 3D Hologram Box.
